Lauro golf has its origins in the center of a natural enviroment, has 27 holes to be combined 9 plus 9 all par 72. From the beginning, the desing of the complex is based on the respect to the enviroment that surrounds it. The course was designed by Folco Nardi, who made a techinical course but not difficult. The enlargement of the course with 19 to 27 was designed by Mariano Benitez.

From the N-340 highway, once you get to Fuengirola take the MA-426 and drive past Mijas Golf and Alhaurin Golf until you get to Alhaurin el Grande. From here it is about 5 kilometres to the course towards Alhaurin de la Torre.
